Modern life 13th May, 2008
It seems that with modern life affecting our diets, our stress levels and even our levels of exercise, modern life could be the worse thing for hair. Stress. Diet. Time. Life can make your hair thin. All the above can be responsible for hair thinning.
It is well documented in scientific literature that physical and psychological stress, as well as poor diet can be a cause of thin or thinning hair. And more then anything, time, as in ageing, will lead to thin and thinning hair, as follicles become progressively less active as a person ages. Dr. Rodney Dawber includes among the causes of diffuse hair loss the following conditions: severe iron deficiency and protein deficiencies, zinc deficiency, crash dieting, and severe emotional stress. Similarly, Dr. Carolyn Thiedke, describes the following “injuries or stresses” as causes of diffuse hair loss: crash or liquid protein diets, high fever, major surgery, severe chronic illness or infection, and severe psychological stress. These stressors can result in both sparser hair growth (hair thinning) and the growth of finer/thinner diameter hairs.
Knowing that modern life was giving hair a really hard time, it made sense to creator something to help us all. And so we created Hairsense.
We all know modern life can take things away from us i.e. the peace and quiet, but let its not take our crowing glory’s.
We are here to help you make sure that doesn’t happen.
